October 22 – November 6, 2011
For the past three years High Fiber has been a successful weekend benefit art sale created to generate support for both fiber artists and the Museum. Because of the wonderful feedback we’ve received from artists and collectors, this year we are extending the sale to a two-week exhibition, October 22–November 6, 2011.
High Fiber showcases a variety of textile art forms including quilts, tapestries, sculpture, basketry, jewelry, wearable art, and mixed media pieces where fiber plays a prominent role. This year, with High Fiber Under Five as a two-week show, we have a juror—Louise Barco Allrich—who has selected the art to be included in the exhibition.
High Fiber gives our artists a chance to exhibit their work and our audience a chance to see the amazing art that is being created… and collected! All art in this exhibition is FOR SALE at $500 or less and can be taken home at the conclusion of the show.
Don’t miss this once-a-year opportunity to see and purchase fantastic original fiber art! View the Online Gallery
